People Behind the Passion
As the visionary behind this entire operation, Our Owner Ryan Hairston created Aperitivo Cafe and Gelato as an antidote to the rush. Inspired by time with his three daughters, his passion is simple: to give every guest a beautiful space to pause, connect, and enjoy simple moments with their own family and friends.
Our Manager, Peyton Strickland, makes every visit feel like coming home. As a friendly & familiar face to our community, she goes above and beyond to ensure that our cafe never skips a beat. Her kindness & eagerness to serve mean you’ll always find efficient service delivered with a warm, personal touch.
Our Journey
Driven by a deep love for Italy and the cherished memory of time spent around the family table, Ryan embarked on a journey to bring the dolce vita—the sweet life—home. He imagined more than just a cafe; he envisioned a welcoming environment, a place designed specifically to help the community slow down. His goal was to translate Italy's relaxed, communal spirit into a local space where friends and family could gather, savor artisanal gelato, and connect over a quality coffee or snack. He dedicated himself to curating a simple, elegant menu that honored tradition and invited people to pause and enjoy life's small, sweet moments together. The cafe became his way of sharing that passion and creating a true neighborhood gathering spot -- and here we are!
